Studies Within A Trial (SWATs)

We are interested in hearing from investigators who may be interested in doing Studies Within A Trial (SWATs). Hundreds of thousands of very good trials have been done to learn more about the best way to intervene to improve health, but very little data have been collected about the best way to do these trials. We are interested in doing methodology research into ways in which to improve research conduct, especially in low- and middle-income countries. For example, there may be studies about the best way to recruit, enrol and retain participants. Are there better ways to do informed consent? Can measurements be improved in low- and middle-income country-based studies?

Inclusion Criteria

All researchers who are interested in conducting SWATs, especially those that will benefit research in low- and middle-income countries.
