Dr. Anand Kawade, M.D.(Paediatrics), DCH, a paediatrician by training has immense clinical experience of managing children of all age groups in the hospital set up as well in large scale community set up. As a trained vaccinologist , his experience of conducting large phase II & III,GCP/ ICH compliant, community based vaccine trials is crucial for understanding safety and efficacy of trial vaccine. He also supports the HDSS VADU, activities like assessment of VA reports, advising for conduct of clinical trials in community, supporting field activities and data collection and identification of translational clinical research in Vadu HDSS. He is also affiliated to various national academic bodies ( Indian Academy Of Paediatric) and international collaboration (Brighton collaboration).Apart from his areas of interests like vaccinology, infectious diseases, paediatric research ,he is keenly interested in medical teaching and medical education technology.
