Experience
Since 2010, the site has conducted the phase III of Moxidectin trial in subjects infected by Onchocerca volvulus, funded by WHO/TDR and the study has completed subjects recretment and is now working on data quality control before validation and analysis.
Research interests
The ongoing trial was implemented with partership of the Catholic University of Graben and the WHO/TDR programme funded by the World Bank, UNDP and UNICEF.

Other information
The site is hosted by the Faculty of Medicine of the Catholic University of Graben, a leading institution in high education in the eastern region of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The Center is endowed with a facility that allows 30 beds for study participants accommodation. For laboratory capacity, the site has got a laboratory that allows biochemistry, hematology, urinalysis and parasitology explorations. In addition, there is a departmement of clinical ophthalmology.
For logistics, the site is equipped with cars and motorbikes.
For communication and data management, a complete set of Vsat internet connection is available
Site personnel can also use English as working scientific language.
