Experience

The role of the Herbal Trials Unit is to develop clinical evidence for the safe integration of Traditional Herbal Medicine into primary health care. We have six years experience in clinical herbal medicine research and training. The scope of our studies include pharmacokinetic herb-drug interaction studies, herbal efficacy and safety studies as well as bridging PK/PG and bioequivalence studies including herbal interventions. The Herbal Trials Unit also provides consultancy services for the design, set-up and conduct of herbal trials.
