Of these, 5 randomised malaria drug trials, three investigator initiated among which one was open label and sponsored by WHO/TDR, two company sponsored, two multicountry trials of which one was a cluster randomised cost effectiveness trial and the other was a double blinded community study investigating nutrition intervention on malaria incidence and gastro-respiratory related morbidity.
