Experience

The Director and the PI of Malaria Research Center, Agogo, Prof. Tsiri Agbenyega has over 18 years experience in clinical trials. He has since 1993, been involved in Malaria research.
He has collaborated with local and foreign partners in studies funded by NIH, Welcome Trust, World Health Organization and the Gates Foundation. He is currently a PI on the PATH-Malaria Vaccine Initiative/GlaxoSmithKline funded Phase III clinical trial of the candidate malaria vaccine, RTS,S, at the Agogo Presbyterian Hospital, Ghana
