Experience

The Research Scientific Unit (Unidad de Investigacion Cientifica) is responsible for contributing to the development of research for health carried out at the Facultay of Medical Sciences, Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Honduras (UNAH).

The studies are carried out in pregrade and postgraduate carreers, includind medical and nursing students. Postgraduate program includes clinical specialties, public health, epidemiology and nursing.

We are the academic unit responsible for contributing to the development of research for health in Honduras from the Faculty of medical sciences through the management of the scientific, technological, humanistic and ethical knowledge through processes of teaching, assistance, and engagement with society, in the context of the priority health problems.

VISION
Be an academic unit recognized for its leadership and ability to contribute to the development of research and provide comprehensive response to priority health problems in Honduras, through the formation of human talent and the conduction of research projects in the framework of bioethics and international best practices.
